This pasta dish is sure to impress your guests. It features flavorful wild-caught shrimp, served on Italian Casarecce pasta with the Mediterranean tastes of sun-dried tomatoes and capers.
The best part about this Italian Casarecce shrimp pasta, is how simple it is to prepare. In under an hour, you can create this delightful pasta and present yourself as a skilled chef. I can't emphasize enough how amazing your home will smell with the garlic and shallots slowly sautéing in butter. The capers add a savory touch, and the white wine complements the flavors perfectly, creating a sensory delight.
In this Italian Caserecce Pasta with Shrimps, we need to be slightly more careful with the salt, since cappers can be very salty.

3.- Season the shrimp with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet with the shallots and garlic. Cook the shrimp over medium heat for 4-6 minutes, turning halfway through, until they turn evenly pink. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
4.- Add the capers, sun-dried tomatoes, and 2 tbsp of butter to the skillet. Sauté with the shallots and garlic for about 2 minutes.
Lower the temperature of the skillet to medium-low. Add the pasta (incorporate some of the pasta water in the process), followed by the shrimp, and mix. Add a splash of white wine and adjust for seasoning.
5.- Once off the heat, drizzle some extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle red pepper flakes, and serve.
6.- Finally, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese to complete the dish.
